9 Best Healthy Cafes and Restaurants In Canggu, Bali 2025

Searching for incredible flavours without impacting your health goals? Here are my top 9 healthy cafes and restaurants to check out in Canggu, Bali!

I hold a very special place in my heart for Canggu, and the wide food selection is a huge reason for this (your girl likes to eat).

Loved by surfers and digital nomads alike, Canggu offers an extensive range of aesthetic and healthy cafes perfect for health-conscious travellers seeking beautifully presented tasty meals!

In my opinion, to explore Canggu properly means to try out as many different cafes and eateries as you can! These range from ‘Insta-worthy’ spots to sweet boho-vibe locations, however, each will guarantee that you become fully immersed in the Bali lifestyle.

To assist you in deciding where you should eat, I’ve listed 9 of my favourite cafes and restaurants in Canggu that I recommend you try.

It’s important to note that this list is in no particular order. For many of these spots, I’ve repeatedly gone back time and time again!

Let’s go take a look at the top 9 healthy cafes and restaurants to eat at in Canggu!

1. Superfood Health Restaurant Canggu

best healthy places to eat canggu bali

Location: Jl. Nelayan 33, Canggu, 80361, Bali

Opening times: 7 am – 10 pm, Mon-Sun

Instagram: @superfoodcanggu

Perfect for: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks!

Recommended dish: Protein Pancakes

We’re starting strong with Superfood Health Restaurant Canggu.

No matter what kind of meal you’re after, this place has you covered. Their breakfast-dinner menu ranges from colourful AND flavoursome smoothie bowls to fresh tuna steak in the evening.

A true highlight is the make-your-own salad and smoothie bars! Here you can choose EXACTLY what ingredients go into your meals and they have the added benefit of explaining the nutritional benefits for each food item on small labels. This means you can tailor your creation to your individual health needs!

We ate here at different times of the day on many occasions, so it can only make sense that Superfood Health Restaurant Canggu is included on this list of recommendations!

2. Kynd

Location: Jalan Nelayan No. 31, Canggu, Bali, Indonesia, 80361

Opening times: 7:30 am – 10:00 pm, Mon-Sun

Instagram: @kyndcommunity

Perfect for: Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner

Recommended dish: Berry Tropical smoothie bowl!

100% plant-based and overwhelmingly aesthetically pleasing, Kynd has an extensive and amazing menu, meaning you’ll be bound to visit a few times to try everything you want!

The atmosphere is light and friendly and they also sell their own cute merchandise too, making it the perfect reminder of sunny relaxing times in one of Canggu’s hottest new spots!

3. Home Cafe

Location: 2 Jalan Subak Canggu, Canggu, Bali, Indonesia, 80361

Opening times: 7:00 am – 11:00 pm, Mon-Sun

Instagram: @home.cafe.canggu

Perfect for: Breakfast/ Brunch

Recommended dish: Salmon Brekky Croissant Bowl

This trendy little spot is located in the heart of Canggu and offers stunning brekky bowls for all dietary needs, including options to make your meals keto.

Home Cafe is extremely popular, so be ready to wait or visit during off-peak hours to ensure you can get a seat! It’s also well-air-conditioned, making it the perfect place to chill while sipping an iced coconut coffee during the hotter times of the day.

4. Motion Cafe

best healthy cafes in canggu bali

Location: Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong, Canggu 80361 Indonesia

Opening times: 7 am – 10 pm, Mon-Sun

Instagram: @motionfitnessfoods

Perfect for: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Recommended dish: THE PROTEIN WAFFLES!!! (my absolute favourite as you can probably tell)

After wanting to try out this cafe for ages, we managed to try dinner and grab a quick breakie the morning after at Motion, before heading to the airport for our flight out of Bali. Needless to say, we finished our culinary experience in Bali on an extreme high.

Suitable for all dietary requirements, Motion Cafe is number one in my opinion when it comes to providing healthy balanced meals (that are super delicious too).

The coffee here was also great which is a big plus for me; not to mention the wonderfully kind and friendly staff too!

My only regret is not visiting Motion Cafe sooner. It’ll definitely be my first stop when I’m back in Canggu!

Location: Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong, Canggu 80361 Indonesia

Opening times: 6 am – 5 pm, Mon-Sun

Instagram: @cratecafe

Perfect for: Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch

Recommended dish: Why So Cereal smoothie bowl

If you’re looking for an outdoor, ultra-chilled-out eatery overlooking the Balinese rice fields, then Crate is the place for you!

Crate is immensely popular, so again, I’d advise visiting when it first opens or during other off-peak times to have a seat of your choice.

This spot was my favourite for breakfast. There’s just something about waking up while sipping your morning coffee out in the Balinese open air.

To experience Canggu properly, Crate Cafe must be ticked off from your list!

6. Nude

Location: Jl. Pantai Berawa No. 33, Tibubeneng 80361 Indonesia

Opening times: 7 am – 10 pm, Mon-Sun

Website: https://nude-bali.com/

Perfect for: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Recommended dish: Halloumi and Avocado Bun

Looking for a light, luxurious setting without the high prices? Check out Nude!

This cafe has both outdoor and indoor seating options and is located next to a busy intersection of Berawa, adding some liveliness to your lunchtime! I particularly enjoyed sitting back and taking in the bustling nature of Canggu.

The menu has everything you’d ever want, from breakfast burritos to lighter poke bowls, there are nutritious options for everyone! I recommend trying out their ‘mylkshakes’ that all include vegan ice cream! My stomach is rumbling…

7. Lola’s Cantina Mexicana

Perfect for: Lunch and Dinner

Recommended dish: Pulled Chicken Taquitos with the Chilli Mango Margarita!

What’s not to love about Lola’s? This outdoor restaurant offers out-of-this-world delicious Mexican cuisine at mindblowing prices!

The restaurant is a work of art in itself, especially during the evening when the lights add a romantic glow to the ambiance.

Lola’s Cantina Mexicana also boasts an island bar in the middle of the restaurant, offering exciting twists of the classic margarita. It’s good to have a treat every once in a while!

8. The Daun Coffee & Roastery

Opening times: 7 am – 5 pm, Mon-Sun

Perfect for: Breakfast and Lunch

Recommended dish: Nasi Goreng

The Daun is a chilled-out cafe & roastery that provides a mix of Balinese and Western cuisine.

It’s a great space for digital nomads and backpackers alike, with big open seating areas inside and outdoors. The staff are so lovely here too!

I had an iced soya latte here and I’m still yet to find anywhere in Bali (or the rest of the world for that matter) that can top this one!

9. Rise & Shine Cafe

best healthy cafes in canggu bali

Location: Jl. Padang Linjong No 71A, Canggu 80361 Indonesia

Opening times: 7 am – 3 pm, Mon-Sun

Instagram: @riseandshine_bali

Recommended dish: Morning Magic smoothie (add a scoop of protein for an extra boost!)

The most colourful breakfasts in Canggu, the laid-back Rise & Shine Cafe creates beautiful and nutritious breakfasts that keep you full for your entire morning of adventures!

Since it can get very busy here and there isn’t a huge amount of seating, I recommend visiting early to avoid disappointment. Trust me, it’s worth the early wake-up call!
