As someone my friends and family would often call “free-spirited”, it came as no surprise that immediately after graduating I embarked upon my first backpacking adventure. Little did I know that this trip which was intended to last six months would become a twenty-month journey, living and exploring in eight different countries!
Similar to all those who are lucky enough to visit foreign destinations, my appreciation and genuine passion for exploring cultures outside of my own altered my perspective and changed many aspects of my life for the better.
However, I am also aware of how confusing and daunting travelling into the unknown can be, especially when it comes to packing, deciding which countries to explore, and how to travel around them! I often used other’s blogs to help make informed decisions however sometimes I found certain information difficult to come by. This, along with my desire to help others make the most of their travelling experience, is what led me to create this blog.
Since being an early teenager, I have also been fascinated by wellness. I was obsessed with researching nutritious recipes, trying out various meditation apps, reading self-help books and using journals to enhance my wellness journey. To this day, I implement several of these self-care methods to improve my quality of life, and now I hope to help others do the same by sharing my own experiences.

During the 20 months that I spent out of the UK, I moved to Australia where I became self-employed as a Personal Trainer. I LOVED assisting my clients in achieving their fitness goals and watching their confidence skyrocket, and I was sad to say goodbye after leaving Australia.
This blog encapsulates my three major passions of wellness, travel, and fitness into one platform. My hope therefore is that my blog can help you to improve your life in at least one of these categories.
Thank you for reading The Travelling Wellness Girl, I hope you enjoy reading as much as I have enjoyed writing my blog!
